Let's start with the more traditional solution, namely from number to know WINDTRE credit, which if you don't know is the 4242. All you have to do to find out how much your residual credit is is, therefore, dial the number in question from your smartphone, start the call and follow the instructions of the recorded voice.
To proceed, take your smartphone, open the dialer (the app you use to make calls), invoke the numeric keypad, dial the 4242 and start the call by pressing the appropriate button (usually the green handset).
After hearing the welcome message, press the key 2 to find out your remaining credit and know the expiration date of the SIM. In the event that your credit is zero or insufficient to renew your eventual offer, you can also top up by pressing the button 1. In this regard, my guide on how to reload WINDTRE may be useful.
Alternatively, you can also find out your remaining credit via SMS. If so, launch the app Messages on your phone and press the button to create a new text message. Once this is done, enter the number 4155 as the recipient of the message, type the text BALANCE in the body of the SMS and tap the button to send the message. Automatically, you will receive a reply SMS containing information on your remaining credit.
Finally, I would like to point out that there is also a more immediate solution to check the remaining credit of your WINDTRE SIM. All you have to do is open the dialer (i.e. the screen where you dial the numbers to call), call up the numeric keypad, enter the code * 123 # and press the icon of handset. In a few moments you should see a message with your remaining credit on the mobile screen.
It will be useful to know that the latter option is valid even if you are abroad. In this case, you can also use the code * 124 * 4242 # which allows you to receive a call from WINDTRE and, after having answered, to know your remaining credit.
Other solutions to know WINDTRE credit
In addition to the options that I have indicated in the previous lines of this guide, you must know that they exist other solutions to know the WINDTRE credit. In fact, by accessing the customer area of the telephone operator with your credentials, both from a smartphone / tablet and from a computer, you can not only quickly know the residual credit of your SIM, but you can also manage your line in complete autonomy. Find everything explained in detail right below.
THEWINDTRE app, available for Android devices (also on alternative stores, for devices without Google services) and iPhone / iPad, is probably the most convenient and fastest solution to find out the residual WINDTRE credit and manage your line independently.
After downloading and starting the app in question, tap the button Log in, enter the data associated with your account in the fields Enter your email or phone number e Enter your password and firstly your pulse Log in, to login.
Alternatively, you can access the WINDTRE customer area and check your residual credit (you won't be able to do much else) even without an account. To do this, enter your phone number in the field Enter your email or number, type il verification code that was sent to you via SMS in the appropriate field and press the button Continue, to access the WINDTRE customer area.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to create an account, tap the button Create your account and follow the instructions shown on the screen to create one. For the detailed procedure, I leave you to my guide on how to register on the WINDTRE site.
At this point, select the option Home located in the bottom menu and, in the new screen displayed, you will be able to see your remaining credit near the item and . If you are logged in to your account, you can also manage other options related to your line, including the ability to view the complete list of any movements made.
To do this, press the ☰ button, at the top right, select the option My line from the proposed menu and press on the item Movement list. In the new screen that appears, you can view the consumption for the current month and the previous months, while selecting the tab Charges and credits you can check any credits and debits from the last 6 months.
Finally, I would like to point out that you can also find out your remaining credit by asking it to Will, the virtual assistant of WINDTRE. In this case, click on thelittle man placed at the top, type "remaining credit" in the field write a message e premi sull'icona dell 'paper airplane, to send the message and view the reply indicating the credit available to you.
If you prefer to access the WINDTRE customer area from computer, connected to the official website of the telephone operator and click on the button Login, top right. In the new page that opens, select the option Log in, enter the data associated with your account in the fields Email address e Password and firstly your pulse Log in, to login.
Now, make sure the telephone number displayed in the sidebar on the left is the one associated with the WINDTRE line you intend to manage. If not, tap on the item Phone line and select the phone number of your interest.
At this point, near the entry Remaining credit, you should see the credit available on your SIM and, if you have an active WINDTRE offer, also the date of the next renewal (Upcoming renewal).
